Opening

Thank you for your interest in my website. I am Philip Wilkinson, am forty-four years old, and live in Boulder, Colorado. I have created art for over twenty-six years and for the last few years my calling has been Photo Poems. These are photographs with poems overlaid, which I find exciting because they provide an effective way for the imagination to appreciate new paths and beauty. I cherish this vibrant format.
This website contains an article that I hope can be helpful, and also many Photo Poems. The Photo Poems have been a profound creative endeavour for me, and I hope an inspiring experience for you. When people view my art, it makes me happy and my effort worthwhile. If you desire to buy a print, please go to the Ordering Page with the number of the Photo Poem you have chosen.

Statement
I have lived in Boulder most of my life. The opportunity to explore open space and city park areas has been a blessing and a journey. These places offer beauty and spirituality for people who live in this county. They have been a source of inspiration as well as objects for my passion with photography.
In these public places there are many things and scenes that make for sophisticated content in photographs. My demands for things that represent ideas and concepts for my photographs have been fulfilled by my journeys to these beautiful places that are part of the Boulder area. I think that our town and its environs are enhanced by the historic vision of our community to have public and open places as part of life.
To create the art in the galleries currently on this website, I used public places available to anyone who lives in my community. I have found that it has been fruitful to take photography here. I am very grateful for this and I hope that you like these Photo Poems.
